My residential.
I realised today that I'd taken part in what can only be described as a residential without the risk assessments. Today is Saturday the 10th of April and I've been home for an hour and a minute (Time arrived home : 4:01 pm). I left my house in the morning on Tuesday the 6th of April around this time. On the Tuesday I was picked up by Wade from the Litt household and went to Tom Crump's house. We were doing some pretty sexual recordings for RATP (which sound awesome btw!! £5 a CD) That went really well for the day, although Mr Crumpo did a great job of Baccy depletion. After a very long time at Tom Crumps I left with Billy and Andrew to obtain a tent from the Wade's before setting off into the wilderness for an evening of camping. On the way home I found out Billy was camping at Mansands so I plotted to go there if my plans fell through. Fortunately for both him and me, my plans stuck firm (even if Wade did bail) and I went camping with my dearest Kelly which was a lot of fun. A lot of chatting, and her doing the battery powered camping mistake, forgot a sleeping bag, so I ended up sleeping in what I was wearing then waiting for her to fall asleep and folding out the sleeping bag. It was rediculously cold. In the morning of Wednesday I awoke with the usual neckache that comes with sleeping in a tent on top of roots (AGAIN) We then folded up the tent, which was a lot harder than the illustrations had depicted, and walked to into Brixham to see a lass called Hannah. She gave me a hot shower, several cups of tea and a packet of bourbons. A success I'd say. That evening I went to Young Volunteers with the Wade children. This was, as usual, an entertaining evening, made a lot better when young Karys turned up. We created a compilation of the best moustaches and I drew Alan on a mini egg. Another success. I then stayed at Wade's and we watched the room. This film is the worst film ever, I would describe it as heroin. You hate it, you hate people on it, it's just downright dirty, then you try it and you're hooked. Well the film sounded terrible from what I had heard and it lived up to it's reputation but was so god damn awesome at the same time!! the terrible Camera work, the hilariously wooden acting, Tommy Wiseau's laughing, the way every sentance started with 'OH, Hi Mark'. I loved it! Thursday was also entertaining. Wade and Karys had a day to themselves, I believe they went to the beach. But whilst all that was happening me and Billy were playing some RTS game, which was a laugh. Oh and we had a mad cool tea party and watched Dragonball for far too long. That night I satyed at Wades (what a surprise). Friday was one of the funniest mornings I've ever had. Big G had the task of driving me ricky himself (duhh) and Ruffield all to Tom Crump's. Well, thanks to our combined intilect at the tie being minuscule, our knowledge of the surrounding area being crap and Wade's Mad Gay map drawing skills, such as lying about the where abouts of a certain double ring road, we got horribly lost and ended up in Torre somewhere. We rang Tom and he wasn't happy, we then drove to his instruction and ended up back at Torre station. This was all very hilarious but making no progress wasn't good, seeing as we were already late. After Tom calling us 'Big Stupid Plums' he then drove down to help us get back to his. Upon arrival we started on the 'Gypsy song' for which I wont go into. You'll have to buy our album to find out. After doing the vocals, well, me sleeping and the others singing, we left for our gig. This gig was a fund raiser for some guy. We were on first and upon arriving and sound checking we begun our gig to all of 3 people who wern't in the bands playing after us. Our music was good and it was still a good, if not quiet, atmosphere. After the gig I went with Ruffs and Mike to egt a drink, I ordered a Rattler, a lovely drink which may be a contender for my 'Tipple of choice' award. After a few of these and a few fags Take Me To The City were on. Now we've got to know them quite well recently and they are a bunch of ....really cool guys. They played their set to which everyone, appart from Ricky, danced to...thats right, even BigG!! this was all a laugh. Afterwards we begun the, what seemed like, illion mile walk to Wade's. By this time I was a wee bit tipsy and sand basically the whole way home. I was very excited as we'd all agreed to watch Inglorious Basterds which I've wanted to see for ages, but in true Graham Litt Fashion, I fell asleep. DON'T TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS!! Saturday was pretty basic. We all got up at ten to nine for some god forsaken reason, thus my constant yawning now. We ate and chatted for a while then went to the rugby club to collect our gear. After shifting it to the YES centre me Strutt and Ruffs begun our walk home. It was 500 yards down the line I decided that it was about time I stopped using my crutch. After a short pitt stop at Wade's in search of my muffins (which mysteriously went missing without me eating any of them) we began our walk home. Me, Strutt and Ruffs walked away singing the various Pokémon tunes we could remember. As we made our way down the back roads out of Brixham we accidentally ended up at Churston Court Inn. We all had a pint, Me Magners and the other two on Abbot, and e and Ruffs played Pokémon. After a very pleasant sit down we began walking again. We reached Squires and Strutt parted with us to make his own way home so there was only two. Naturally out came the Pokémon again, so we had an entertaining walk home, involving a hell of a lot of critical hits, Roar fails and anger. After leaving Brixham at 1 I walked into my house at 4. 3 hours from Brixham I hear you shout!! Well, we had a long pub stop, none of us had slept eaten or drank much that day and I'd only just come off crutches. Either way, a successful few days away, but my lovely bed tonight.
